How eraser.photos handles your information.

The image editor runs in your browser. We also need to deliver the website and respond when you contact us. This policy explains those separate activities.

Images and local processing

Your image pixels, filename, brush mask, and edited result stay in your browser. We do not receive them for editing, store them in an account, use them to train a model, or sell them. The site does not require an account.

When you run an edit, your browser downloads a model file from models.eraser.photos. It may keep that file in browser cache storage so it can be reused. The file request does not include your image or mask. If local processing fails, the tool does not fall back to a server upload. You can remove cached site data using your browser settings.

Website delivery and security

Cloudflare delivers the website, public images, and model files. Like other hosting services, it processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser details, and security signals to serve and protect the site. This is separate from the image you open in the editor. Cloudflare handles this information under its privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load when you visit this site. Google Analytics measures page visits and site use. It can use first-party cookies, including _ga, to distinguish visits and collect browser, device, and approximate location information. We have disabled Google Signals and advertising personalization signals in our tag configuration. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity measures clicks, scrolling, and other page interactions and can create session replays. It may use cookies and similar identifiers. We mark the image editor for masking so its contents are not intentionally included in recordings. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. These scripts load without a site consent prompt. You can limit cookies or tracking through your browser settings, though the site itself does not currently provide a tracking switch.

Ahrefs Web Analytics and Plausible Analytics also load on visits. Plausible’s script is served from plausible.shipsolo.io. They measure aggregate traffic such as pages viewed, referrers, browser or device details, and approximate location. In their standard setups, they do not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. See Ahrefs Web Analytics information and Plausible’s data policy. We do not intentionally send your image, brush mask, filename, or result to any analytics service. Browser cache storage may hold public model files; it is not an analytics identifier.

Support messages and outside links

If you email [email protected], we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Cloudflare Email Routing and our Agentic Inbox service process and store that correspondence so we can answer your request and handle related support or privacy matters. We keep it only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping. Please do not send private images, identity documents, or other sensitive information. Links to outside websites are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Your choices and requests

You can stop using the site, clear its browser cache, and avoid sending us email. To ask about information you sent to support, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, email [email protected]. Tell us which correspondence you mean; we may need to verify that the request comes from the same address. We cannot retrieve an image that never left your device.
